Sony Ericsson has produced, yet once again, another top notch introductory level Walkman phone. Searching for a portable MP3 player and a fantastic mobile phone all in one? Then the W205 is unquestionably worth a look. Read on for our views on this delightful and funky little Walkman phone from Sony Ericsson.
The first thinking when having a look at this handset was that it seems very light and hollow. Perfect if you favour your mobile phones not to be really heavy but light instead and you may put it away in your trouser pocket without it protruding and would not be noticeable. Once you have held this phone it would not be a surprise if people thought this handset was at the superior end of the market, and that it does keep numerous high quality innovations.
Taking pictures with the 1.3 megapixel camera is hassle-free and does the job well in taking wonderful shots all the time. The W205 bestowed to you by Sony Ericsson is part of the Walkman range, and consequently features a built in Walkman music player which supports file formats such as MP3 and AAC, TrackID music recognition, FM radio and expandable memory so you can stock all of your preferred music. The Walkman user interface will be a breeze to operate for anyone who has employed MP3 players before. While listening to your preferred track, its corresponding album cover art which you have downloaded prior will be exhibited on the screen together with visual presentations such as music timer and music duration.
The W205 mobile video display is comparatively smaller equated to other examples in its range at about 1.8 inches. Despite the miniscule screen, the display can send off up to 65k colors, and because of this, photographs and other written documents on display comes in much sharper and finer. In addition, its compactness really makes the image rendered crisper.
Mobile internet with WAP allows for access to the internet and while it is a lazier affair than 3G or HSDPA, the GPRS connection is enough for checking text based internet sites such as footie scores and train schedules. The Sony Ericsson W205 comes in as a nice addition to the Walkman model. One cannot be mistaken with the W205 if used as a mobile phone to just put in your sim during one of your journeys and wether you are interested in high end features or not. Sure it misses 3G, a high end camera and GPS but the plain fact is, some individuals does not desire nor necessitate this in a mobile phone. For the music enthusiast in all of us who is searching for a user-friendly phone that has superb music playback capabilities, the Sony Ericsson W205 is the best pick.
