“I never get tired of it. I love getting out on stage,” says the legendary
Dolly Parton, sitting in front of a rack of colorful, sequined dresses
handmade especially for her Better Day World Tour. “I stand backstage waiting
to go on, and I get a little nervous and get butterflies and get pacing in my
skull kinda like a race horse, but once the light hits, there’s nothing else I
can do but get out there and do my best. The fans have always been very
accepting of me, and I love them for it.”
Bringing to life her 41st studio album, ‘Better Day,’ the country music icon
took her dazzling live show to fans across the U.S., England, Ireland, Sweden,
Denmark and Australia. Along with introducing poignant new songs including
‘The Sacrifice,’ Dolly delighted her audiences with old favorites such as ’9
to 5′ and ‘Jolene,’ and even mixed it up with a little choreography –
