How To Study The Bible The Right Method
Generally, the Holy Bible is the top selling book throughout the world. Just come to consider it, it had existed in for just about 2,000 years. That is the Old Testament and the New Testament alone. Even before the approaching of Jesus Christ, the Old Testament was in existence too among the Jews.
Today, the Holy Bible is being sold by the millions around the world. Many of us do own a copy of it. But do all of the owners read the Bible everyday? Do they bring it to church when they attend church service? Truth of the affair is, only a particularly few read the book themselves! That’s a pretty downcast thing, isn’t it?
One of the explanations why folk don’t read the Bible is actually because they find it tough to understand. Somehow, they think that likely only the non secular folks can understand it. Do we need to take up a vocation on religion simply to grasp God’s word?
Somehow the Holy Scriptures do recommend us to study the Bible. In truth it asserts, study the scriptures for ye think ye have life in them. It also claims, study to show yourself approve unto God.
So you will ask, “Where do we start our study?” There are 2 things you can do. 1) Study it by yourself . 2) Study under the steering of your church leaders or scholars.
Sadly, studying the Bible on your own can sometimes be extremely tricky. It is like you are groping in the darkness. A lot of us do need the steerage of the Lord God as well as the direction of someone that already understands the Bible.But then, you might say, “There are too many Christian denominations today, who is telling the truth?” But the Bible says, test the spirits of these Bible teachers how they match up to the Bible truths. So, compare what does a selected non secular leader say with the Bible truths. Judgement isn’t mine to make as I’m not God.
However , if you really desire to know about the Bible truths, pray that the Lord God may steer you. My only prayer is, may God grant you your would like to find the truth you are seeking for. When you observe the Holy Bible, don’t forget to pray for the steering of the Lord.
