In L.A.’s most famous rock club, a small town girl meets a rocket from a big city. Their ‘rocking’ love story is told through the popular hits of some of glam bands such as Bon Jovi, Styx, Poison, Journey, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Asia, Whitesnake and many more. The rock of ages show made its world premiere in LA at The Vanguard.
During 1987, a legendary Hollywood rock club is facing a closedown. At this time, a young big city rocker who is struggling for his big break meets a small town girl who is eagerly chasing her dreams. Will it be final countdown for the rock club or would they find some way out of these troubled times? The play is written by Chris D’Ariezo and directed by Kristin Hanggi. The show has a on-stage band ARSENAL featuring keyboardist/music director Henry Aronson, drummer Jon Weber, lead guitarist Joel Hoekstra, Winston Roye on the bass and David Gibbs with guitar.
